The name refers to the feudal tradition. Only after the feudal lords had sold their own wine, the peasants were allowed to attach a "branch" (Italian "frasca") and sell the few wine that they had stored. A lively meeting place for the local population until today, where people like to socialize and to relax, to drink a glass of wine, and to enjoy some cold cuts, cheese, polenta, and other typical Friulian dishes.
